The Social Development Committee Chairperson, Alex Maskey MLA, hosted a reception in the Long Gallery, Parliament Buildings, Stormont  on behalf of the Northern Ireland Fuel Poverty Coalition.

The aim of the event was to learn about and examine the main fuel poverty policies and interventions implemented in each of the Nations.  The event brought together experts on fuel poverty issues from across the 5 Nations; England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland along with NI Assembly MLAs, local MPs, TD’s, local government, public bodies, health sector, young/older persons groups and voluntary/community organisations.
