The Fuel Poverty Coalition, chaired by NEA NI, held this year’s conference at the Park Avenue Hotel, on Wednesday 27 November 2013. The conference was supported by The Atlantic Philanthropies. The aim of this event was to bring about the necessary strategic, co-ordinated and collective actions to tackle fuel poverty in Northern Ireland and;
- to bring a sharper focus to the impact that fuel poverty is having on people;
- to examine the current policy interventions that are endeavouring to tackle fuel poverty and to bring together the key stakeholders including our Northern Ireland Politicians to develop an action plan that will set out how and when fuel poverty will be eradicated in Northern Ireland.
